The providers, staff, and patients of the Lavonia satellite office of The Georgia Center for Sight are soon going to have a beautiful new office to enjoy.  Previously located inside St. Mary’s Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia, the busy full service vision care center had outgrown their office space.

Dr. Jing Dong and his staff provide treatment for cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy; as well as vision correction through LASIK, glasses and contacts.

“We are excited to have more room to provide services to our patients in comfort, and room to expand our selection of glasses for patients to choose,” said Clare Clifton, Practice Administrator.

The new building is 6,100 square feet, with the new office taking up half, and the other half available to customize for lease.

Martin Construction & Grading prepared the property for building and finished the parking lot, while Harbin customer Grady’s Construction was the go-to for turn key building services for the new office.

“The service from Harbin and the quality of materials is great, and as usual, I’ve been very pleased with my experience on this project” said Grady Smith.  “Harbin is my go-to for materials on all my builds, no matter how big or small.”

Despite the record setting rainfall the area experienced over eight months during construction, the project completed right on schedule.

Congratulations to Dr. Dong and his staff, and kudos to Martin’s Construction & Grading and Grady’s Construction for another job very well done.
